"If someone ever said building an Earthship was easy, they would be sooo wrong. Day 1 was crazy hard, but in a good way. This is going to be awesome. For anyone who doesn’t know, I am interning for 3 weeks on the Miles City, Montana Earthship build. More info at earthship.org. The Earthship build team are amazing people, extremely nice and helpful. They have no problem taking their time explaining anything you want to know. I’m gonna bust my ass so hard for these people."

Objectives
To launch a demonstration project for a residence or commercial venture that will illustrate how the Earthship concept is executed and provide a transfer of knowledge for how to replicate it in any part of the world.

To educate communities around the world as to the fact that fully sustainable buildings can be built and to demonstrate to local authorities that they can meet and exceed existing regulations.

It has been our experience that this is the most effective method of bringing the Earthship concept to new areas. You may become involved by acting as the host for such a project or helping find an appropriate host.

Dear Friends~ Perhaps you can steer us in the right direction. We have a piece
of property in a small town that we would love to use as a host area for an
internship/model program. We would like to build a community center/emergency
shelter/education/training facility that we can live in. This community has
expressed great interest in such a project, but is in a very low-income area.
Any ideas or suggestions if there would be interest at your end? Thanks~DJ
